David's career began in 2003 when he was selected by Merrill Lynch as a Business Financial Advisor, specializing in wealth management and cash management. Over the years, he honed his expertise at firms like Citi Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney before founding Steele Street Capital in 2012. As an independent firm, David has steered Steele Street Capital towards becoming a Registered Investment Advisor, driven by his dedication to providing clients with transparent, fiduciary-centered financial advice.
Beyond his professional achievements, David is deeply committed to his family and community. He currently lives in Kittery, Maine, with his wife Laura and their children: Tristan, Neve, and Henry. David's personal interests reflect his passion for balance and continuous learning, including skiing, cycling, and the pursuit of knowledge. He also enjoys activities such as fly fishing, golf, and cooking.

Laura began her academic journey at the University of New Hampshire, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. She then built a successful career in retail banking, where she was continually promoted in recognition of her dedication and leadership in client services. Laura went on to join Steele Street Capital at its inception, bringing her extensive experience and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Laura's career choice in financial advisory and wealth management stems from her deep-seated desire to assist others in achieving their financial goals, enabling them to fully embrace life's opportunities and joys. Originally from Bow, NH, Laura now resides in Kittery, ME, with her husband David Gerasin and their blended family, including Tristan, Neve, Henry, and their beloved Cavachon puppy, Sushi. Outside of her professional life, Laura finds joy in her role as a mom and stepmom to her three children and enjoys activities such as reading, spending time outdoors—especially at the beach—listening to music, crafting, and practicing yoga. Peyton Oakes-Bryden

Peyton C. Oakes-Bryden serves as the Director of Client Operations at Steele Street Capital, bringing a unique international perspective as an Australian-American with a comprehensive background in finance and project management. He holds a degree in Finance and International Economics from the University of New Hampshire, where he also contributed as a mentor in additive manufacturing.
Peyton's career began in 2021 when he joined the New York-based private equity firm Prescott Hamilton International. He initially focused on developing and commercializing cutting-edge water treatment technologies, later transitioning to a management role on the firm’s Malaysia operations desk. Specializing in international finance and sustainable development, Peyton gained expertise in overseeing high-value portfolios and facilitating business development in complex international markets.
Raised between Cape Canaveral, Florida, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire Peyton now resides in Portsmouth with his significant other, Morgan. Outside of his professional life, Peyton is deeply involved in climate research through the Contrails Nonprofit, which studies the environmental impact of aircraft contrails. His personal interests include ocean kayaking, fishing, flying light aircraft, and cooking.
